I'm studying Nanotechnology Engineeringcheck out my program @ Waterloo! at the University of Waterloo (2025–2030) and currently a Design Engineer at Infinitude Design. I'm a curious guy who likes to build things, explore unfamiliar places and ideas, and meet people who change how I see the world.

Build with purpose.
Start with people
I want to understand what someone is carrying, where friction exists, and what kind of outcome would genuinely make their day or life better.
Make ideas tangible
I enjoy moving from conversation and possibility into something real — whether that means a product, an experiment, a shared project, or a new way of approaching a problem.
Leave a positive mark
I'm most interested in work that offers relief, creates connection, opens access, or helps others move forward in a meaningful way.
On specializing
Depth vs. range.
The world tends to reward specialists — go deep enough into one thing and the value is obvious, easy to point to, easy to price. And that's fair; depth compounds. But there's a quieter kind of value on the other side. Being someone who can move across different knowledge spaces means you can fill the gaps between people who only speak their own discipline's language. On a cross-functional team, that's not a lack of focus — it's what actually lets the group work together, instead of just working in parallel next to each other.
Depth gets you noticed. Range gets you the room where everyone else needs a translator.

Bring the world back into the work
Travel, photography, collecting, and collaboration all strengthen the same skill: noticing. Every new perspective can lead to more thoughtful questions and more human things worth building.
I like exploring on foot — hiking terrain I've never seen, wandering into neighbourhoods with no plan, and letting a city's food tell me where to go next. Most recently: a glacier hike in Iceland, and wandering Expo 2025 in Osaka well past midnight under the light installations.

Six years with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets — instructor, drill team coach, and Squadron Standards Warrant Officer in my final year, setting expectations and helping junior cadets grow into leaders themselves.
